As a formally trained painter and freelance airbrusher, Pat started going into tattoo shops to get feedback and possible sales commissions (see, even then he was pushing himself to become a better artist). As he became more exposed to tattoos, he became interested in this new and different medium, and began questioning and thinking with tattooists. Soon after, he was drawing and designing solutions to artwork problems with some of the tattooists he met.

By 1993, Pat was tattooing full time, and a year later he broke out his wallet to go to conventions and other tattoo shops. Although Pat was tattooing full time by 1993, it wasn't until a year later that his outlook on tattooing was inspired. He met Shahn Anderson (Hopkins, MN) at a convention and showed, through his work, that tattoos are more than just designs on skin. It is an artform.

And then, in May 1999, Infinity Tattoos was born and continues to be the #1 shop in town (according to Rochester's publication of The Shopper). Eight and a half years after he layed down the ink-ladened needle into his first human canvas, multi-award winning Pat continues to adorn clients with his work. Always learning and exchanging ideas, always on the look-out for some kick-ass vintage Hot Wheels, and always scaring his crew with his rooster calls - Pat keeps his shop on their stinky lil' toes.

"Tattooing has totally consumed my life, never leaving my mind for long, always fulfilling and often leaving me drained, only to inspire and bring me to life again. Special thanks to my wife, Wendy, and Tom and Candi Genereux, for understanding this life and for all their help and support. And to my crew for putting up with my constant nitpicking and high expectations for Infinity."
